When Covid-19 made it unsafe to trick-or-treat, Facebook looked for ways to bring Halloween into the homes of their users.

Unable to concept an idea that delivered candy through the screen, we decided to provide users with another quintessential Halloween experience - a live tour through a haunted house.

But we made it bigger.

‘Happy Haunting LIVE’ at Winchester Mystery House was the first ever live streamed, interactive, haunted house tour on Facebook. Comedian Trey Kennedy co-hosted the event with Facebook Groups while millions of users and their families participated from home.
